I’m an American-Canadian software designer and design engineer with about 9 years experience based in London, England.
I wear many hats and have been lucky to do so with some great folks over my career: GitHub, Teal, The Game Band (of Blaseball fame/infamy), Bench Accounting, and SEDNA Systems, to name a few.
I’m an obsessive cook, baker, wine nerd, amateur boxer, medicore photographer and voracious reader. I used to run a little wine bar pop up in Vancouver called KISS Wine Bar. Maybe one of these days I’ll bring it to London.
I have a deep appreciation for live music, mid-century and brutalist architecture, cosmology and physics, video games, and nice pint of Guinness.

I enjoy hopping in large, aerodynamic flying cylinders to travel and take every opportunity to do so. I maintain a sprawling list of a few hundred places around the world that I either recommend or want to go to. I don’t curate it for others, but some have found it helpful: The List™ .
I also have a deep love of music and making playlists. (I like lists, can you tell?) Here are a few of my favourites:

I exist around the internet, though largely as a lurker.
Colophon
This site is built on NextJS, deployed to Vercel, using wonderful tools like Framer Motion and TailwindCSS. The type is set to Polymath by OH no Type Co and Untitled Sans and Tiempos Text both by Klim Type Co.
Is this overkill for what amounts to a micro-blog site that barely anyone will see? Yes.
Do I care? No.
